Nick Owen (with the mug) is a postgraduate electronic & sports engineering student at Victoria University. Nick has a background as a technician, in the Navy, test and measurement, and traffic systems.
More recently Nick has been involved in the design and implementation of a variety of industrial projects, such as Myer Christmas windows, robotic games for blockbuster movie premieres, and retail mechatronic installations.
Duncan Hames (with the thumbs up) is a postgraduate qualified electronic engineer, with qualifications from Box Hill TAFE, Victoria University and Swinburne University. He also has a background as a technician, in antenna installation, digital printing, enterprise mobile computing, and electronic manufacturing.
Duncan has been involved in industrial consultation at a native plant nursery, LED signage research & development, electrical and software engineering for large format LED displays, and recently designed, installed and commissioned an electrical system for a 10.5m power catamaran.
